Under the lid, the material of the device is visible, in gray design. The removable battery is located at the bottom of the smartphone, and the slots for Micro SIM above it. And the last one is a slot for Micro SD, it is arranged above one of the SIM cards, which will only be taken when the battery is removed from the device. I also think the manufacturer calculated that on the SIM slots did not install the "snap-down mechanism", since it is now much more difficult to get a sim card from the device.

The device screen has quite typical features for the budget device. This is TFT capacitive touch, 16m colors, 480 x 800 Pixels, 4.3 inches (density ~ 217 PPI). From myself I want to add that the colors are highlighted quite clearly and bright. Perhaps, of course, the entire chip in the installed Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system, which in itself entails the presence of a huge choice of color scheme. When watching movies and clips, the device has shown adequately, and, in general, I am satisfied with the saturation of the picture and the clarity of the image. The smartphone can be used to view the video, both on popular servers and using the device's memory.

As it was assumed earlier, the smartphone received the Android 4.4 OS (Kitkat), and the branded shell from Touchwiz. Along with other devices released by the company in the last three months, Galaxy Star 2 Plus has not undergone virtually no changes. All the same bright interface design, and all the same colorful icons in the menu bar. However, there is changes, when opening the menu, there is no division into former three categories: applications, widgets and downloaded applications. The ability to add widgets to the main screen is now performed only with long pressing on the screen. The most notable changes have undergone the settings menu. This time there is a list in the form of round badges, decorated quite clearly and understandable. As for the curtain of notifications, there is a bit changed here, but, in my opinion, the possibility of its use by the user has not been modified. But with watching video and listening to musical compositions there are very few minuses, the device, thanks to many corrections, it works with many different formats. So for those owners who do not so often play, the smartphone will be very weltering, and the price will pleasantly surprise him.

Camera:

This is what has become pleasant, at least physically replenished in the model, in comparison with the previous one, is the camera. After all, this time the company did not bother and installed in addition to 3 megapixel camera photo flash. It even despite the fact that the smartphone belongs to the budget series of devices. It also delivered a quick change button to change the shooting mode. When the screen is blocked, it is possible to quickly enter the device to the chamber, with the help of clicking in the lower right corner on the camera icon.
As for photographs, they turn out average quality, but thanks to the flash, the quality is noticeably improved. In daytime lighting, the quality of the photo remains relatively good. Made a couple of pictures with different lighting, the camera, judging by the finished photo, showed itself well, if you compare it with budget cameras on smartphones of other manufacturers. In general, I was satisfied with the quality of the photo and the functionality, which the camera has, when used.


Autonomous work:

As for the work of the battery, here you can only say not much. Its capacity is 1800 mAh, which is quite enough if you do not overload the device with games and uninterrupted internet surfing. Charge will be enough for about a day. But here it all depends on how often the display includes the display and the brightness of the apparatus. But, nevertheless, when viewing a video, listening to audio files, charge should be enough for 6-8 hours of use. And if you use the phone just like a "dialer", you can count on 2 days.

Testing in Benchmark Antutu:
