Consider new personal information. You shouldn't give out too much personal information on a social network, but there are a few things to keep in mind:

Understand what the less is more rule. It's okay to add a few believable details to your account that no one can confirm or deny, such as photos, interests, current location, but don't overdo it! By adding information that people can verify (and understand that it is false), you undermine the confidence of people in your new profile, in the end, it may even receive complaints about it as a fake one.

• For example, you shouldn't list a specific school or place of work in your account, because it is quite easy to determine whether you really worked for this company and attended this school.
• The less precise details your new profile has, the more believable it will look.

Try to minimize the resemblance between your real and fake profile. This includes the current location of the fake profile, age, name, interests, work, and so on. All of these points should be noticeably different from your real profile. You also need to change the way you communicate.

• For example, if you always keep your spelling and punctuation correct on your real page, try ignoring grammar on a fake page.
• Things like your age and interests cannot be verified by anyone, so feel free to compose them without fear of getting caught.
• Also, in a new profile, you should not add more than one or two people as friends that you have as friends on your real page, and never add two people whom you could not know if you were not in a certain place (for example, at school or at some event).

Add real photos to your profile. It is worth publishing a photo from Google or Yandex, and you will most likely be caught stealing content. So make sure you take real photos and upload them to your new profile. But first, make sure there are no details in these photos that would reveal your actual location.

• For example, instead of taking a photo of a street in your home town, you can upload an image of a field or meadow.

Show, don't tell. People rarely talk about their personality and other mundane things. Just listing facts about yourself in the hope of filling in empty profile lines will only raise suspicion among people on your friends list.

• Instead, you can show what kind of person you are by adding information to the Information section, liking pages, indicating your interests, and so on.

Limit your Messenger communication. Be an avid user. Most Facebook users are fairly active all day long, so it's important to add friends, like posts, sometimes post, and update job or contact information.

• You can use incognito mode in your browser so you can use your fake profile without leaving your real profile.

Very often, users ask how to merge multiple Facebook accounts. In fact, there is no such possibility in the standard interface. However, there are workarounds. Unfortunately, the method proposed in the article will not allow you to transfer and recreate absolutely all of your data. But that's better than nothing.

So, what kind of association are we talking about at all? Let's say you have a Facebook account that for some reason no longer suits you. We have created a new account, but what about the content, likes, friends, comments and everything that is “acquired by overwork”?

Archive creation

As a first step, I recommend using the standard function for creating and uploading an archive with account data. This procedure may take some time. The resulting archive will be useful to you in any case if you suddenly decide to delete your account or lose access to it (unfortunately, Facebook at any time can consider you a violator and block your account).

To back up your data, go to account settings, tab General, button Download a copy of your Facebook information in the lower part.

This will take you to a page where you can download the information and get a copy of what you shared on Facebook.

Now click on the button Start creating archive... Alternatively, you can also download extended archive at the appropriate link below. It is advisable to download both archives. The first is the data itself, the second is, as it were, the account change history, which is also very useful.

Now you have to be patient. Depending on how long and how active you have been with your account, creating an archive can take a long time. Up to several hours.

On the screen you will have a window like this. There is no need to look at it and wait for completion. When the operation is completed, you will receive an email notification, after which all you have to do is download the prepared archive.

Restoring friends

As mentioned above, you cannot restore or transfer absolutely all of your data, including your friends. You need to manually add contacts to the new account. Unfortunately, Facebook does not yet have a function to export and import friends.

However, you can import contacts from accounts of services such as Skype or Gmail. So if you have the contact details of most of your friends outside of Facebook, then this is not such a problem. Go to your new Facebook account and import contacts from any service you like (even from a CSV file) via the standard function Invite friends.

Worst of all, there is no automatic import of the information you downloaded from the archive. The archive contains photographs, correspondence, videos, publications.
