Of course, a drone measuring 50 by 50 centimeters and with conventional brushless motors could hardly lift even a tenth of this load. Therefore, the Ehan Company has developed a special apparatus weighing 200 kilograms, capable of carrying heavy loads.


One can imagine the size of such a colossus, in which one adult can easily fit. With a height of one and a half meters (a person does not stand in the apparatus, but sits), the Chinese invention is already close to obtaining a license for the right to transport people by air. It looks like when this happens, we will definitely find ourselves in the world of a futuristic future.

The device, by the way, can be in the air for only 23 minutes. The manufacturer has not yet revealed the secrets regarding the charging time of the batteries and how much energy it takes to fill the tanks of this amazing aircraft.

According to the assurances of the developers, their device is capable of flying 100 kilometers. True, they did not specify whether only one battery was charged or in general. The path he must fly is organized just before the flight. The passenger is not required to have the skills to control the copter, since everything is done for him by a smart application.

All a person needs to do is start the engines before takeoff and, accordingly, turn them off when the vehicle lands at its destination.

In addition, there is also a pause button on the control panel. It is not clear yet how and where it should be used. It is most logical if, thanks to it, the device simply hangs in the air.

Ehan is fully electric. Equipped with eight blades (that is, this is a real octocopter), the same number of engines and four beams, each of which has two motors and propellers.

In addition to one person, a small load can be placed inside the octocopter, for example, a bag or a backpack - it will no longer work. And not even for reasons of technical lifting restrictions, but because there is too little space inside.

According to the manufacturer, passengers have nothing to fear, because the flight safety was designed perfectly. The aircraft can fly even in storms and has a safe landing system in emergency situations.

The drone has already completed about a hundred test flights with a person, and all safety systems were at their best.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to carry out mass flights on this octocopter so far, because flying on such drones is not allowed. The cost of the product is 300 thousand US dollars.
