The base for Yandex.Auto was obviously the Yandex.Navigator application. However, apart from navigation service, new platform allows you to combine various applications that are useful to the driver on the road on one multimedia screen of the car. We are talking about FM radio stations (Yandex has created a database of radio stations in various cities), Yandex.Music, Yandex.Pogode, etc.
In addition, the new platform supports personalization: it adapts to the needs of drivers and allows you to transfer settings from one car to another.
