Steps

Part 1 Connecting the Scanner

1. 1 Connect your scanner or MFP. Connect your device with a USB cable to your computer.

Part 3 Configuring Scan Settings

Creating a scanned document with the camera¶

Creating a scanned document from a file¶

A new scanned document can be created from a file from any list (Recent or All Scanned Documents). Just tap the plus icon and choose one of the options: create a scan by taking a photo of the document with your camera, or use an image from the photo gallery.

When scanning is complete, tap the document thumbnail in the lower right corner. Here you can tap “Save PDF” or edit scanned files. Editing options are found in the menu at the bottom of the screen.

Why can't I highlight, edit, comment, or mark text in an OCR document?

To work with converted text, you need Acrobat Reader... A scanned document with OCR can be opened and viewed in Adobe Scan, but to work with text, you need to install Acrobat Reader and tap Open in Acrobat.

Why was OCR unable to recognize some parts of the document?
