Temporary mail. Correct spelling of e-mail address U 23 e mail e-mail

The purpose of the lesson. Study information technology creating a mailbox and working with e-mail (or e-mail in English).

Brief help. To work with email, you need:

mailbox - a place where letters will be stored;

e-mail address - the address to which letters will be sent to you. The address looks like: mailbox_name @ mail_server_address. The address cannot contain spaces and must contain the @ symbol;

username, sometimes referred to as an account or login - what appears in the email address before the @ symbol;

password - the password for accessing your mailbox, since the mailbox is protected by a password so that no one else but you has access to it.

Task 30.1. Create your own mailbox.

Brief help. You can get a mailbox (and more than one) by registering on the server of one of the free mail services. There are several such services on the Internet. The most popular services are Hotmail, Yahoo, Inbox.ru, Land.ru, Mail.ru. The last three are Russian services.

Operating procedure

1. Enter in address bar the address of the Russian free postal service Mail - www.mail.ru and press the key. Wait for the page to load (fig. 30.1).

3. Following the instructions, register your mailbox (fig. 30.2). As a result, you will receive the address of your mailbox, for example [email protected]

4. For further work, it is important to remember two things: your username and password, because every time you enter postal system from your computer or any other password and login are entered in the appropriate fields.

Brief help. The password is entered exactly as when registering with the observance of capital and small letters, necessarily in the same case and in the same language.

Task 30.2. Sending a letter by email.

1. Log in to mail.ru again, enter your password and login, you will see a mailbox (Fig. 30.3). Immediately after registration, there will be no letters in your mailbox, unless the Internet services congratulate you on the purchase of a mailbox.

2. Create a new email and send it to yourself. To create a letter, click the button Write a letter. A field for entering the recipient's coordinates will appear and below the space for entering the text of the letter (Fig. 30.4). Specify your address as a recipient, enter any text of the letter and click the button Send.

3. If necessary, save the letter by checking the box "Save a copy". End work with the postal service by clicking on the button Output.

Task 30.3. Receiving a letter by e-mail.

1. Log in to mail.ru again, enter your password and login, you will see a mailbox. Now in your inbox there is definitely a letter that you sent to yourself, and the number next to the Inbox shows the number of new letters.

Fig. 30.6. Interface Internet programs Explorer

In the tab post office press the button Add to and specify the item Post office.

2. A window will appear in which you need to fill in the column Your name. Enter your name there, it will be displayed in the field From: all your emails.

3. In the window that appears, enter your email address. Click the button Further.

4. Then you need to specify the servers for working with mail.

In the line "Server of incoming messages" select POP3. In the line "Pop or imap server for incoming messages" enter pop3.east.ru.

In the line "Server for outgoing messages" enter smtp.east.ru. Click the button Further.

5. Provide an account and password.

In the “POP Account” box, write what is in your email address before the @ symbol.

In the column "Password" enter your password for working with e-mail. Click the button Further.

6. Provide a name for the account. Enter the name that is convenient for you or leave the name set by the program by default. Click the button Further.

7. Specify the type of connection. Depending on how you connect to the Internet, select by phone or through a local network. Click the button Further.

8. In case you are connecting via a telephone line, you may be prompted to select one of the telephone connections. Choose the one that you use to work with the Internet. Click the button Done.

Note. If you have any problems with configuring your mail program, contact the technical support service.

Task 30.6. Creation of an e-mail in MS Outlook Express.

You can create a letter with a button Create. After clicking on this button, a new letter is created, with empty fields. You can attach a file to the letter with the button Attach.

After the letter is created, you can Send message- the letter goes to the addressee if you are connected to the Internet. If there is no Internet connection, then the letter is sent to a special folder for letters intended to be sent.

You can reply to an already sent letter by clicking Reply. When you click on this button, the message will be added to the subject line Answer: Re, and the body of the letter itself will be quoted, that is, the> symbol will be added to the beginning of each line of the original letter.

An unnecessary letter can be deleted with the button Delete- move the highlighted letter of the current folder to the "Deleted Items" folder.

Operating procedure

1. Click in the upper left corner of the mail program on the list button next to the button Create message(select the item "Form selection") (Fig. 30.7). Select the design of the form, let's say - "Antique".

2. A new window for writing a letter opens on top of the mail program window (Fig. 30.8).

Fig. 30.7. Choosing a form for an email

Fig. 30.8. The window for creating an e-mail "Detailed letter"

3. In the upper half of the email window, fill in the To, Cc, Bcc, and Subject lines.

In field To whom enter the email address of the person to whom the email will be sent, for example, an abstract address - [email protected]

In field Subject write a short line that reflects the meaning of the letter, such as "Test letter".

If you enter the address in the field Hidden, then the recipient will not know that such copies have been sent to anyone else.

4. After filling in the addressing fields, click at the bottom of the letter window so that the text cursor appears there - a flashing vertical bar. Type the text of the letter. Use the buttons on the text formatting bar to change the size, style, and color of the letter text.

5. Click on the button labeled Send message- the window will close.

Task 30.7. Sending an e-mail in MS Outlook Express.

Operating procedure

1. When you click the button Send, then the prepared letter goes to the Outbox folder and lies there waiting. And only when all letters are ready to be sent, click on the button labeled "Deliver mail". In this case, letters will be sent to the outgoing mail server.

Brief help. Receiving and sending mail is completely independent. For example, the size of the letter you send does not in any way depend on the size of your mailbox, because the letter does not end up in the mailbox when it is sent. Note that the purpose of the incoming and outgoing mail servers is different. Mail is received from the incoming mail server, and mail is sent from the outgoing server.

2. When finished, close MS Outlook Express.

All letters are sorted into folders. They are called differently in different mailers ah, but the meaning is usually the same. This is what they are called in Outlook Express.

Inbox folder - contains incoming mail.

"Outbox" folder - contains letters prepared for sending, but not yet sent. They can be sent by clicking the button Deliver in the mail program menu.

The "Deleted Items" folder in mail programs is its own trash bin. Deleted messages do not go to the general trash, they go to the "Deleted items" folder. Don't forget to empty this basket.

Depending on the mail program, there may be additional folders in it.

Subject: E-MAIL ......................................... .................................................. .................................................. .......... 118

This article will be of interest to those who use mail from Mail.ru and still do not know their email address, or maybe you just forgot it and want to remember it or look somewhere. How can such a person find out their email address? I want to tell you about two ways, each of which has the right to life and with 100% probability will help you finally find and see this cherished address.

After all, anything can happen, someone has not used their mailbox on the Internet for a long time. You created it just for registration in some social. network, forgot the password there and want to restore it. But the trouble is, do not remember the mailing address, you suffer because you cannot get to your page in contact. Or maybe this is a reliable site for making money on which your money is hanging.

Let's consider the first option right away. This is the case when you remember your username and password and can go to your mail. But you just don't know where you can see what your mailing address looks like. In such a situation, thousands of people find themselves every day who have created an e-mail for themselves. Frankly, I was once one of them and did not know where my e-mail was. That is why I want to tell you how to find your address in order to make the most of it. For example, you can just copy it and then paste it into some registration form. Thus, you will quickly register on the desired site.

My email - how to find it and where to find it?

So now just go to the Mail.ru website using your username and password (), enter them and press the login button. How do I find my email address after logging into the site? You can see it in two places at once, namely in the upper right corner and in the left. As shown in the picture below.

This is the most easy way, but beginners often cannot cope with such a seemingly the simplest task... Now you know where, if necessary, you can look at your E-mail address.

Consider the next option, when you forgot your email address, and you need it to the bone. It will be about recovering a password for a page on social networks or on a website that you use to make money on the Internet (). Forgotten passwords usually sent to an email address, and you just have to go to the mail.

But the trouble is, you don’t remember what to do with your address. This situation can happen to those who have several E-mails on the Internet at once and the person gets confused and forgot which one he used to register on the desired site. Or you have only one mail, but you use it so rarely that you do not remember for a long time.

In such a situation, the Google search engine can help us precisely with its help, I once remembered my email address. But there is one thing here, you had to use real data, that is, your real name and surname, when creating an e-mail.

Only then will Google save us. I'm sure you remember your name, and this is the most important thing, now just enter it into search engine(for example Dmitry Chiritsa) and click search. On the first page you will find your account on Mail.ru, and just below your mail will be displayed, something like this.

In the same way, you can find out the email address of any person you are interested in, provided that he has registered his mail on the Mail.ru website. By the way, if you know the postal address, you can already calculate anyone by it. The scheme is the same, just enter the name of the mail into a search engine and after a couple of seconds you will get the information you are looking for. This way you can find the person you want by email.

Perhaps you just need an Email, in which case it is not necessary to remember the old mail address, but to register a new one ().

Hope these simple ways helped you and now you know your email address. Use it to your health, or better write it down so as not to forget next time, you never know what. If you, like me, have many similar addresses, I advise you to create a separate Word document... Then copy the addresses there along with passwords. This will greatly simplify your online activities.

Email in its action it is similar to the usual one, therefore, mastering the principles of its operation should not cause any particular difficulties for the user. Its main difference is that not physical objects (letters, parcels, parcels) are sent, but their informational images. This imposes a number of restrictions, but also gives a number of advantages over regular e-mail. Therefore, e-mail should not be considered as an alternative to postal services that exist in all corners of the planet. We can only talk about complementing one type of communication with another.

The main advantage of e-mail is the prompt delivery of letters. Usually emails reach anywhere in the world in a few minutes. Just like a fax, it allows you to send not only text, but also an image, however, you do not use long distance or international telephone connection and the image quality does not deteriorate during transmission.

Email does not use geographic addressing. The email address looks like this:

mailbox_name @ domain_name, (for example, [email protected])

The @ symbol is a separator that indicates where the username ends and the domain name begins in the address. In Russian it is often called "dog" or "frog", and in English it means the preposition "at", that is, in our example, the user "ivanov" on the domain "mail.ru".

Today, two slightly different e-mail services operate in parallel on the Internet. This is a classic email E-Mail and email based on the World Wide Web Web-Mail.

Classic Email E-Mail works on the principle of a relay race. The so-called mail servers are installed in the network nodes - programs that work under the protocol SMTP... In order not to slow down the work of other services, usually the mail server is designed as separate computer... Protocol SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is the simplest message transfer protocol.

Receiving messages... The message is transferred between servers SMTP until you find yourself in " mailbox", Where it is stored until the addressee connects to mail server using a special client program - an e-mail client. This mail client must be able to work with a special protocol, which is used to receive letters received on the server. Simplest protocol SMTP not enough here. SMTP is a relay protocol. With its help, messages are sent to the server and forwarded between servers, but in order to receive them, you need to present the rights and confirm that the recipient is exactly the person to whom the message is addressed. Generally accepted protocols of admission: POP3 or IMAP .

There are many email programs, most of which are free. They are all quite similar and only slightly differ in design, their additional opportunities and according to the degree of compliance with accepted standards (The Bat !, Microsoft Outlook and etc.).

Email Web-Mail. Classic e-mail has a characteristic drawback - the need to install on a computer and master special program- mail client. The Web-mail servers are regular Web servers. When each client connects, a Web page is generated corresponding to the current state his account in the database. A regular browser acts as a client program. Unlike E-Mail, Web-Mail is not a stand-alone service - it is simple additional service World Wide Web systems. Web-Mail addresses are recorded in the same way as E-Mail addresses.

Advantages of Web-Mail over classic email:

Ease of use,

Relative anonymity,

Mobility,

Easy to manage your account.

Disadvantages of Web-Mail:

Low work speed,

Limitation useful functions,

Security threat,

Language barriers (encoding problem).
