Bmw m6 f13 specifications. Review of the smartphone Meizu M6s with balanced characteristics

At the beginning of the year, Meizu introduced its new smartphone The M6s, which is nominally an improved version of the M6, but there are many more differences to call it a simple upgrade. Meizu M6s received a lot of innovations, such as a side fingerprint scanner (never before seen in devices from this manufacturer) and an 18: 9 screen, it has returned the navigation option with a circle button. In a word, the smartphone has the right to claim the title of the original model and can count on the closest attention from the fans of Meizu mobile technology.

Meizu M6s comes complete with USB cable and AC adapter (5/9/12 V; 2 A) with support fast charging mCharge.

Appearance and usability

Meizu M6s received a nice all-metal body with a nice design and practical materials. Unlike the same model, there are no notorious plastic inserts on the ends.

Accordingly, painfully familiar curly grooves, covered from the outside with a composite material, are provided to lead the antennas outward.

There are no complaints about the assembly either: everything is clearly adjusted, does not creak when compressed, the body is monolithic. The metal has a matte hard surface, glides a little in dry palms. The smartphone is moderately large, not very thin and not the lightest, but everything is within the limits of the already familiar norm. Due to the strongly rounded corners, the smartphone is quite comfortable to carry in the pockets of clothes.

The camera module on the back side sticks out slightly, because of it the smartphone sways, lying on a hard surface. There is only one camera on the back of the body, next to it you can find a dual, bright enough LED flash.

The front panel has an LED event indicator. The front camera did not receive its own flash, as well as autofocus.

Below the screen, there are no touch buttons, no fingerprint scanner, or even the manufacturer's logo - just a rather narrow strip of empty space is left.

The fingerprint scanner is unusually placed on the side, and it is not built into the power key, as in Sony, but is located next to it. It's just a playground, with no button underneath.

The second mechanical button, responsible for the volume, is located on the opposite side. Some people like it, but still the vast majority modern smartphones get both buttons on the same side, so it is clearly more convenient.

The card slot is standard hybrid, you can install two Nano-SIM cards in it or put a memory card instead of one of the SIM-cards.

At the top there is nothing but an auxiliary microphone, all other elements are huddled at the bottom.

Here again we see a set of retro-style interface connectors: USB port represented by a Micro-USB connector, but the usual 3.5 mm audio output for headphones has been preserved. The main speaker is also brought out here, at the bottom end.

The Meizu M6s model goes on sale in four colors: with a black, gold, silver and blue case. It is noteworthy that the main competitor, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, also has a blue modification in its arsenal.

Screen

Meizu M6s is equipped with an IPS display with 2.5D protective glass. The dimensions of the screen are approximately 65 × 130 mm, the diagonal is 5.7 inches, but the resolution is 1440 × 720 (18: 9), the dot density is only about 282 ppi. The width of the frame around the screen on the sides is about 3 mm, the indents at the top and bottom are 1 cm high.

Display brightness can be manually adjusted or used automatic settings based on the operation of the ambient light sensor. Multi-touch tests diagnose support for 10 simultaneous touches.

A detailed examination using measuring instruments was carried out by the editor of the "Monitors" and "Projectors and TV" sections Alexey Kudryavtsev... Here is his expert opinion on the screen of the test sample.

The front surface of the screen is made in the form of a glass plate with a mirror-smooth surface, resistant to scratches. Judging by the reflection of objects, the anti-glare properties of the screen are slightly better than that of the Google Nexus 7 (2013) (hereinafter simply Nexus 7). For clarity, here is a photo in which a white surface is reflected in the turned off screens (on the left - Nexus 7, on the right - Meizu M6s, then they can be distinguished by their size):

The screen of the Meizu M6s is slightly darker (the brightness in the photos is 116 versus 120 for the Nexus 7). The doubling of reflected objects in the Meizu M6s screen is very weak, this indicates that there is no air gap between the layers of the screen (more specifically, between the outer glass and the surface of the LCD matrix) (OGS-type screen - One Glass Solution). Due to the smaller number of boundaries (such as glass / air) with greatly different refractive indices, such screens look better in conditions of intense ambient light, but their repair in the case of cracked outer glass is much more expensive, since the entire screen has to be changed. On the outer surface of the screen there is a special oleophobic (grease-repellent) coating (better than Nexus 7 in terms of efficiency), so fingerprints are much easier to remove, and appear at a slower rate than in the case of ordinary glass.

With manual brightness control and with the display of the white field on the whole screen, the maximum brightness value was about 460 cd / m², the minimum - 1.9 cd / m². The maximum brightness is high, and given the good anti-glare properties, the readability of the screen even on a sunny day outdoors should be at a decent level. In complete darkness, the brightness can be lowered to a comfortable value. In the presence of automatic brightness control according to the light sensor (it is located to the left of the slot of the front speaker). V automatic mode when the ambient light conditions change, the screen brightness both increases and decreases. This function depends on the position of the brightness adjustment slider. If it is 100%, then in complete darkness the auto brightness function reduces the brightness to 55 cd / m2 (a little bright), in an office lit with artificial light (about 550 lux) it sets to 320 cd / m2 (suitable), in a very bright environment ( corresponds to illumination on a clear day outdoors, but without direct sunlight - 20,000 lux or slightly more) the brightness rises to 460 cd / m² (to the maximum - this is what you need); if the adjustment is about 50%, then the values are as follows: 5.5, 220 and 460 cd / m² (the first value is low); if the regulator is at 0% - 1.9, 110 and 460 cd / m² (the first value is already quite low). We were more satisfied with the option with the slider by about 60%: 15, 260 and 460 cd / m². It turns out that the automatic brightness control function works adequately and allows the user to customize his work for individual requirements. At any brightness level, there is no significant backlight modulation, so there is no screen flickering either.

This smartphone uses an IPS-type matrix. The micrographs show the typical IPS subpixel structure:

For comparison, you can see the gallery of photomicrographs of screens used in mobile technology.

The screen has good viewing angles without significant color shift even with large gaze deviations from perpendicular to the screen and without tint inversion. For comparison, we present photographs in which the same images are displayed on the screens of Meizu M6s and Nexus 7, while the brightness of the screens was initially set to about 200 cd / m², and the color balance on the camera was forcibly switched to 6500 K.

White field perpendicular to screens:

Note the good uniformity of brightness and color tone of the white field.

And the test picture:

The color saturation on the Meizu M6s screen is slightly higher than natural. Testing has shown that this is achieved by increasing the color contrast. The color balance of the Nexus 7 and the tested screen is different.

Now at an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the plane and to the side of the screen:

It can be seen that the colors did not change much on both screens, but in the Meizu M6s the contrast decreased to a greater extent due to the strong black lightening.

And white box:

The brightness at an angle at the screens decreased (at least 4 times, based on the difference in exposure), but in the case of Meizu M6s, the drop in brightness is slightly less. When deviated diagonally, the black field is lightened strongly and acquires a reddish tint. The photos below demonstrate this (the brightness of the white areas in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the screens is the same!):

And from a different angle:

With a perpendicular view, the uniformity of the black field is average, and the backlight also shines a little through the body panels:

The contrast (approximately in the center of the screen) is high - about 1360: 1. The response time for the transition black-white-black is 27 ms (16 ms on + 11 ms off). The transition between gray tones of 25% and 75% (based on the numerical value of the color) and back takes 39 ms in total. The gamma curve, plotted using 32 points at equal intervals in terms of the numerical value of the shade of gray, did not reveal a blockage in either the highlights or the shadows. The exponent of the approximating power function is 2.17, which is slightly below the standard value of 2.2. In this case, the real gamma curve deviates little from the power dependence:

We did not reveal the presence of dynamic adjustment of the backlight brightness in accordance with the nature of the displayed image, which is very good.

The color gamut is close to sRGB:

The spectra show that the matrix filters mix the components together to a moderate extent:

As a result, visually, the colors on this screen do not differ much from the natural ones (remember the slight overestimation of the color contrast). The balance of shades on a gray scale is medium, since the color temperature is much higher than the standard 6500 K, but the deviation from the spectrum of the absolute black body (ΔE) is below 10, which is considered an acceptable indicator for a consumer device. At the same time, the color temperature and ΔE vary little from shade to shade - this has a positive effect on the visual assessment of the color balance. (The darkest areas of the gray scale can be ignored, since the color balance there is not very important, and the error in measuring color characteristics at low brightness is large.)

This device has the ability to correct the color balance by adjusting the hue.

In the graphs above, the curves Without corr. correspond to the results without any color balance correction, and the curves Warmly- data obtained after moving the slider to the position as in the picture above. It can be seen that the change in balance corresponds to the expected result, since the color temperature approached standard value, but ΔE has become too large. It doesn't make much sense to perform the correction.

There is a setting that allows you to reduce the intensity of the blue component.

In this case, the wording about health risks is not extreme, which, however, still does not add to the usefulness of this function. Recall that, in principle, bright light can lead to a violation of the circadian rhythm (see the article about the iPad Pro with a 9.7-inch display), but this problem is solved by adjusting the brightness to a comfortable level, and distorting the color balance by reducing the contribution of blue. there is absolutely no point.

To summarize: the screen has a high maximum brightness and has excellent anti-reflective properties, so the device can be used outdoors without any problems even on a sunny summer day. In complete darkness, the brightness can be lowered to a comfortable level. It is also acceptable to use the mode with automatic brightness adjustment, which works adequately. The advantages of the screen include an effective oleophobic coating, no air gap in the layers of the screen and no flicker, high contrast, as well as sRGB color gamut, albeit slightly spoiled by a slight overestimation of color contrast. The disadvantages are the low stability of black to deviation of the gaze from the perpendicular to the plane of the screen. Nevertheless, taking into account the importance of characteristics for this particular class of devices, the screen quality can be considered high.

Cameras

The front camera of the Meizu M6s uses an 8MP sensor and a 4-element lens with an f / 2.0 aperture. There are software "selfie enhancers" powered by ArcSoft technologies. As usual, when using this beauty editor, not only wrinkles disappear, but also skin texture. If you do not use the "beautifier", then all the wrinkles are drawn in the pictures more strongly than in real life. With a selfie camera like this, you don't even know which is better. There are no special complaints about the sharpness, the pictures are bright, the detail is normal. In general, everything is very good for daytime shooting. Indoors, with artificial light, the quality does not drop very much with proper dexterity, but here you have to exercise exposure, since two-thirds of the pictures taken from the hands come out blurry.

The rear camera has a sensor resolution of 16 megapixels, a 5-element lens with an f / 2.0 aperture is used. There is a fast phase detection autofocus, which works adequately, there is a two-tone bright flash but there is no image stabilization.

The menu is standard for the Flyme interface, it is very laconic, but that's what it takes: you won't get lost in the mass of unnecessary settings, everything is at hand, at the distance of one click. There is manual mode shooting, in which you can enter the exposure compensation, adjust the white balance, set the sensitivity to ISO 1600. There is no standard option to save images in RAW.

The camera can shoot video in a maximum resolution of 1080p at 30 fps, there are no more advanced modes, there is no stabilization either. In general, the camera copes well with video recording. Sharpness is normal, detail is satisfactory, there are no complaints about color rendition and auto white balance. The sound is recorded cleanly - here, unlike Xiaomi devices, the noise reduction system does not distort the sound recording with its overly aggressive work, everything is fine with the sound.

The camera turned out to be almost flagship. She perfectly works out the details in the field of the frame and according to the plans, she does not zealous with software processing, and copes well even with a lack of light. There are practically no areas of blur in the pictures, even at the edges. Perhaps, it is difficult to single out obvious shortcomings here, so the camera can be recommended for documentary and artistic photography.

Telephone part and communications

The Samsung Exynos 7872 chip includes an LTE Cat.7 / Cat.13 modem capable of providing a data exchange rate of 300/150 Mbps (download / upload). Meizu M6s supports six LTE FDD frequency bands, including three used in Russia (Band 3, 7, 20). Again, this is where the review hero has a significant advantage over Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. Within the city limits of the Moscow region, the device behaves confidently, the signal reception quality is wireless networks raises no objections.

Both Wi-Fi bands (2.4 and 5 GHz) are supported, as well as Bluetooth 4.2, but there is no NFC module. With the current ubiquity of contactless payment technologies, this is a rather sad fact that deprives the user of a fair amount of comfort.

The navigation module works with GPS (with A-GPS), with the domestic Glonass and with the Chinese Beidou. The first satellites during a cold start are detected quickly, within the first minute. The device has a magnetic compass required for navigation programs.

The phone application supports Smart Dial, that is, while dialing phone number the search is immediately carried out by the first letters in the contacts. The methods for sorting and displaying contacts are standard for the Android interface.

The platform supports active waiting for both SIM cards in 3G / 4G at the same time. That is, the SIM card can be actively waiting in the 3G / 4G network, and not only in 2G, even if another card is assigned for data transfer in 4G. Cards work in Dual mode SIM Dual Standby, there is only one radio modem.

Software and multimedia

OS is used as a software platform Android version 7.0 with its own Flyme shell version 6.3 and with the ability to update over the air (OTA). The proprietary interface has not undergone significant changes, everything is familiar and standard for Meizu smartphones. It is worth noting only that in new version returned Meizu's proprietary navigation with a circle: right-left - switch between applications, touch - return to the previous screen, hold - go to the home screen. The familiar Android navigation option is available as an alternative: you need to go to the Navigation bar section and select one of two ways to display the navigation bar with buttons there.

To play music, a familiar audio player with a 5-band equalizer with presets is used. The sound of the smartphone is not particularly impressive: the speaker sounds clear and loud, but loud, without a noticeable presence of low frequencies. The sound in the headphones is better, and indeed for a smartphone of this price level, the sound is in order here, everything is at a quite satisfactory level.

The voice recorder demonstrates good sensitivity, an additional microphone with a noise canceling function eliminates ambient noise, but there is no FM radio in the smartphone.

Performance

Meizu M6s uses a single chip as a hardware platform Samsung system Exynos 7872, made on 14-nanometer technology. Actually, this is the first smartphone presented on this platform. The SoC has 6 CPU cores: 2 Cortex-A73 cores at 2 GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 cores (1.6 GHz). Responsible for graphics processing is the GPU Mali-G71 video accelerator, single-core, with a frequency of 1.2 GHz, supporting the OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan graphics APIs. Volume random access memory is 3 GB, and the built-in flash memory is 32 or 64 GB. Of these, on average, about 24 GB (out of 32 GB) of storage space and 1.2 GB of RAM are free.

There is a possibility of expanding memory by installing microSD cards, but the system does not offer to install applications on a memory card. You can also connect external flash drives to USB mode OTG.

The main competitor for the Samsung Exynos 7872 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 625/630 - both platforms are positioned for high-end smartphones. According to the test results, the Samsung platform, quite expectedly, looks better in complex benchmarks, but in specialized graphics tests the GPU Adreno just as expected bypasses Mali.

The capabilities of this platform are still more than enough for any needs and tasks, there are no problems with games either, heavy Modern Combat 5, Mortal Kombat X and even Injustice 2 run without slowdowns. A smartphone on such a solid platform still has a certain amount of power for further updates.

Benchmarking AnTuTu and GeekBench:

All the results we got when testing a smartphone in the most fresh versions popular benchmarks, we have tabulated for convenience. Several other devices from different segments are usually added to the table, also tested on similar latest versions benchmarks (this is done only for a visual assessment of the resulting dry numbers). Unfortunately, within the framework of one comparison, it is impossible to present the results from different versions benchmarks, so many worthy and relevant models remain "behind the scenes" - due to the fact that they once passed the "obstacle course" on previous versions test programs.

Testing the graphics subsystem in gaming tests 3DMark, GFXBenchmark and Bonsai Benchmark:

When testing in 3DMark for the highest performing smartphones, it is now possible to run the application in Unlimited mode, where the rendering resolution is fixed at 720p and VSync is disabled (which can cause the speed to rise above 60 fps).

Browser cross-platform tests:

As for benchmarks for evaluating the speed of a javascript engine, you should always make allowances for the fact that the results in them significantly depend on the browser in which they are launched, so that the comparison can be truly correct only on the same OS and browsers, and this possibility is available when testing not always. In the case of Android OS, we always try to use Google Chrome.

AndroBench memory speed test results:

Heat images

Below is a thermal image back surface obtained after 10 minutes of running the battery test in the GFXBenchmark program:

Heating is more localized in the upper part of the device, which, apparently, corresponds to the location of the SoC. According to the heat chamber, the maximum heating was 34 degrees (at an ambient temperature of 24 degrees), which is relatively little.

Video playback

For testing "omnivorous" when playing video (including support for various codecs, containers and special features subtitles) We used the most common formats that make up the bulk of the content available on the Web. Note that for mobile devices it is important to have support for hardware video decoding at the chip level, since it is often impossible to process modern versions at the expense of processor cores alone. Also, do not expect a mobile device to decode everything, since the leadership in flexibility belongs to the PC, and no one is going to challenge it. All results are tabulated.

Further video playback testing was done by Alexey Kudryavtsev.

We did not find the MHL interface, like Mobility DisplayPort, in this smartphone, so we had to limit ourselves to testing the output of video files on the screen of the device itself. To do this, we used a set of test files with an arrow and a rectangle moving one division per frame (see "Testing techniques for video playback and display devices. Version 1 (for mobile devices)"). Screenshots with an exposure of 1 s helped to determine the nature of the frame output of video files with various parameters: the resolution varied (1280 by 720 (720p), 1920 by 1080 (1080p) and 3840 by 2160 (4K) pixels) and the frame rate (24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 fps). In our tests, we used the MX Player video player in the "Hardware" mode. The test results are summarized in the table:

Note: If both columns Uniformity and Skips green ratings are set, this means that, most likely, when watching movies, artifacts caused by uneven alternation and skipping of frames will either not be visible at all, or their number and visibility will not affect the viewing comfort. Red marks indicate possible problems related to the playback of the respective files.

According to the frame output criterion, the quality of video playback on the screen of the smartphone itself is very good, since in most cases frames (or groups of frames) can (but are not required) to be output at even intervals and without frame drops, with the exception of 4K files with 50 and 60 frames /with. When playing video files with a resolution of 1280 by 720 (720p), the image of the video file itself is displayed exactly in the height of the screen and in its original resolution (in landscape orientation). The displayed brightness range is the standard range of 16-235.

Battery life

The non-removable battery installed in the Meizu M6s has a standard capacity of 3000 mAh, which is significantly less than that of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. Nevertheless, the smartphone is not so bad in terms of autonomy, it is average, although not outstanding.

In real life, the device behaves in the same way as most modern smartphones: it confidently lives up to the evening charge, but you can't count on more.

Testing has traditionally been conducted at typical power consumption levels without using power saving features.

Battery capacity Reading mode Video mode 3D Game Mode
Meizu M6s 3000 mAh 13h 00m 10h 00m 4h 20m
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus 4000 mAh 16h 20m 12h 25m 9h 00m
Neffos C7 3060 mAh 11h 00m 8h 00m 5h 00m

Honor 9 lite 3000 mAh 21h 20m 11h 10m 4h 40m

Continuous reading in the Moon + Reader program (with a standard, light theme) at a minimum comfortable brightness level (the brightness was set to 100 cd / m2) with auto-scrolling lasted about 13 hours until the battery was fully discharged, and with continuous video viewing in high quality (1080p) with the same brightness level through the home Wi-Fi network the device operates for about 10 hours. In 3D games mode, the smartphone can work up to 4.5 hours, depending on the specific game.

The smartphone is charging from its own network adapter in just 1 hour with a current of 1.5 A at a voltage of 9 V. Wireless charging the smartphone does not support.

Outcome

Meizu M6s is not priced so expensively: the younger version (with 32 GB) officially costs 14 thousand rubles, and for the older version (with 64 GB) they ask for 16 thousand. At the same time, there is practically nothing to complain about: there is a solid all-metal case without plastic inserts, the hardware platform is quite modern and efficient, cameras, sound, screen, autonomy are good, communication capabilities better than many (especially Xiaomi of a similar level). Support for fast charging is also an important point, few of whom have mobile devices this price range it is. In general, the smartphone is clearly worth its money, and among the current models of the manufacturer is currently one of the most interesting in terms of the combination of price and features.

The predecessor of the modern BMW M6 Coupe is the legendary BMW M635CSi E24, which debuted at the 1983 Frankfurt Motor Show. This car, in turn, replaced the classic BMW 3.0CSi coupe. The car became the first business-class coupe in the manufacturer's lineup. A lot of innovative developments were implemented in the E24, in particular, an on-board control system that monitors the level of brake fluid, water in the washer reservoir, oil in the engine and the health of the headlights. A 3.5-liter engine with a capacity of 286 horsepower was installed under the hood of the car, with which the car could accelerate to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds. The current generation BMW M6 Coupe debuted at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. The car also received many modern technologies... The four-seater rear-wheel drive sports coupe in the back of the E63 differs from the standard 6-series car exclusive design, the highest level of comfort and a powerful powertrain. The car is equipped with a 5-liter V10 engine with a capacity of 507 horsepower. The BMW M6 Coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is limited to 250 km / h. It is noteworthy that the motor can be controlled by two programs, one of which provides for limiting the motor power to 400 horsepower.

The BMW M6 Cabrio E64 is based on the sports coupé model of the BMW M6 Coupe. This car made its debut in 2005 at the Geneva Motor Show and in turn became the successor to the car known since 1983. The coupe was different huge amount useful electronics, powerful 507-horsepower motor and original design. The convertible was first presented to the public in 2006. The vehicle is characterized by a 2 + 2 landing pattern and rich equipment. The car uses the same powertrain as the compartment version - a 5-liter ten-cylinder engine with 507 horsepower. The engine is equipped with a double-VANOS variable valve timing system and electronic throttle valves for all cylinders. The dynamics of the M6 Cabrio is inferior to the version in the coupe body - the car accelerates to 100 km / h 0.2 seconds slower - in 4.8 seconds. The car also differs from the M6 Coupe with fundamentally new seats and, of course, a transparent soft roof with an electric drive. In the fall of 2007, the cabriolet and coupe models underwent a slight restyling. The changes affected the front of the body and sidewalls. The luggage compartment of the convertible is 350 liters.

Which were and are in demand at the present time. It should be noted that this success rate is primarily associated with the high quality of all systems and mechanisms that are used to create the model. As a rule, all elements comply not only with standards and requirements, but also with time, thereby serving as a 100% guarantee of safety and reliability.

A model that is available in two trim levels and modifications. These are: F12 (Coupe) and F13 (Convertible). These versions of the car were launched into production relatively recently, in 2012, but today a fairly large number of cars have been sold and produced, according to the statistics provided by the company. It is worth noting that the car model pleases with its additions and modifications, which distinguish it from all cars of this class and category.

It should be remembered and taken into account the fact that each modification has its own properties and specifications which are very different from each other.

The design of the car is excellent, it does not have fog lights, unlike the regular version, and the model is more aggressive than the usual one and has a lot of differences. The model received another enlarged bumper, which received air intakes, aerodynamic elements and design solutions. At the car show in Detroit in January 2013, the debut of the four-door BMW 6-Series coupe in the Gran Coupe solution in the "charged" M-performance took place. Two years later, at the same site, the Bavarian manufacturer presented an updated version of the model, which was separated by minor changes in the exterior and interior.

And in the "civil" incarnation, the "six" in the body of the Gran Coupe looks cool, but the four-door M6 looks even more impressive, which is facilitated by a more developed body kit, expressed by aggressive bumpers and side "skirts", a quartet of "graduation" orchestra and wheel arches, almost entirely filled with beautiful large-radius discs.

The length of the BMW M6 Gran Coupe is 5011 mm, while the width and height are respectively 1899 mm and 1393 mm. Of the total length of the vehicle, 2,964 mm falls on the distance between the front and rear axles, and the ground clearance does not exceed 107 mm.

The interior of the M-sedan of the 6th series is of a higher quality, almost exactly repeats that of the "civilian" counterpart, but differs in some touches - a sports steering wheel, seats of a different configuration and large quantity leather, metal and carbon fiber in the design.

The front seats are not the most sporty in appearance, but they have a tenacious profile and a huge number of different adjustments. The rear sofa is shaped for two passengers, and the third can sit down only when absolutely necessary.

There is enough space, but for tall riders the sloping roof will press on the tops. For daily needs in the arsenal of the BMW M6 Gran Coupe - a 460-liter luggage compartment, it's a pity, there is not even a "stowaway" under the raised floor.

Specifications. The Bavarian "stallion" is driven by a 4.4-liter V-shaped "eight" S64B44 with two turbochargers and direct gasoline supply, generating 560 "horses" of power at 6000-7000 rpm and 680 Nm of maximum torque, available in the range from 1500 to 5750 rpm. All traction through the 7-band "robot" M-DCT with two clutches falls on the rear axle, which is equipped with a differential lock with a multi-plate clutch. The results of this combination are as follows: 4.2 seconds "shot" from 0 to 100 km / h, 250 km / h peak speed (optional - 305 km / h), fuel consumption at the level of 9.9 liters.

The "charged" sedan is built on the basis of the usual "six" Gran Coupe, but in some technical aspects it has differences: variable power steering, electronically controlled shock absorbers and perforated brake discs.

Options and prices. For the 2015 BMW M6 Gran Coupe, Russians will have to pay a minimum of 8,340,000 rubles, and by default such a car “flaunts” LED headlights and lanterns, a scattering of airbags throughout the cabin, a “climate” with two coverage zones, premium “music”, a leather interior and various M-gadgets.
