Nokia lumia 730 dual sim white. An operating system is a system software that controls and coordinates the operation of hardware components in a device.

On September 4, 2014, one of the last smartphones released under the Nokia brand was released. It was the Lumia 730 Dual SIM - a classic representative of Microsoft's devices, which you can buy today for about $ 180. It turned out to be a typical mid-range device, equipped with a quad-core processor, HD display and a gigabyte. random access memory.

In terms of design, the union between Nokia and Microsoft did not show anything new: it is enough to know that this is Lumiya to understand what this smartphone is. The classic rectangular case, with rounded edges and a monolithic back panel covering the side ends, repeats the design techniques already used in the line. On the positive side, the cover of the smartphone is removable.

Our review is intended to take a look at the device a year after the announcement and find out how this smartphone, which is still on sale, can attract a buyer.

It is incorrect to compare the hardware of Windows smartphones with their Android competitors due to the differences between these operating systems, as well as to compare their performance in the popular Antutu benchmark. Therefore, we cannot say that the use of the previous generation chipset automatically places the device in the budget category.

CPU

The Lumia 730 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. CPU the device has four cores, the clock frequency of which is 1200 MHz. As a graphics accelerator, traditionally for this American chip manufacturer, the Adreno 305 is installed, which, although not a gaming one, can cope with most toys.

Memory

The RAM in Lumia 730 DS, traditionally for last year's mid-range devices, is 1 GB. Knowing the features of Microsoft's OS, we can safely say that this capacity is quite enough.

About 4 GB is allocated for storing user data. The total storage capacity is double, but a significant portion of the space is reserved by the system. There should not be a shortage of free space, since support for memory cards of 64 and even 128 GB is declared.

Battery

The battery capacity of the Lumia 730 is 2220 mAh, it will last for 7-8 hours of video playback, about an hour more web surfing or up to 2 days of standby time. As for an OS smartphone Windows Phone- looks unimpressive, but quite typical for analogs on other platforms.

Camera

The main camera of Lumia 730 DS has a non-standard, but typical for this manufacturer, resolution of 6.7 MP. It is equipped with CarlZeiss optics, flash and autofocus function. The shots are good in bright light, but in low light conditions, noise can not be avoided. In general, the camera can be called average: the small size of the matrix and the relatively low resolution affect it.

The front camera is equipped with a high-quality 5 MP sensor and can be used fully not only for video communication, but also for taking selfies. Like the main one, it takes good pictures during the day, and can please even in the evening.

Display

The display of Lumia 730 is made using AMOLED technology (organic light-emitting diodes), has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and a diagonal of 4.7 inches. The picture quality is at a decent level: the colors are natural, the viewing angles are good, the brightness is enough. In general, it can be called high-quality and optimal for its class.

Connection

The smartphone is equipped with two slots for SIM cards, both of which are in MicroSIM format. Lumia 730 supports GSM, UMTS / HSDPA (3G) communication standards. LTE (4G) is unfortunately not available. Also on board is Wi-Fi, fourth-generation Bluetooth and GPS satellite navigation.

Multimedia

From a multimedia point of view, the Lumia 730 is not a bad option. It has support for playing loseless formats of audio, video high resolution and a radio receiver. The speaker is not bad: although it "cuts" the lower frequencies (which is quite common for smartphones), it copes with the middle range. The headphones sound good, especially if you connect a high-quality headset.

Operating system

The smartphone was one of the first devices in the line to receive the Windows Phone 8.1 system with the Denim service pack. Among the innovations should be noted the appearance of a weather widget on the lock screen and the ability to combine tiles on the home screen by folders. In a word, if there were any updates, they were internal, the interface did not touch. The Lumia 730 works quickly, there are no brakes, and if you do not take into account that many WP functionality is not enough, then everything is fine here.

Pros and cons of Nokia Lumia 730 Dual sim

Advantages Nokia Lumia 730:

  • good screen;
  • robust case with removable cover;
  • decent sound;
  • MicroSD support up to 128 GB.

Cons of a smartphone:

  • the battery did not live up to expectations;
  • no LTE.

Our review for Nokia Lumia 730 Dual sim

In our opinion, Nokia Lumia 730 Dual sim is a typical mid-range smartphone based on Windows Phone OS. He has no frankly strengths, but also significant disadvantages - too. The functionality of the device, according to the review, turned out to be balanced and quite decent. To love or not to love Windows Phone is purely a matter of taste. But for those who like this platform, the smartphone will be a very good purchase.

But with relatively affordable option I also want to introduce you today - Lumia 730.

To be honest, in Berlin, another Lumia smartphone for the middle price segment was shown - Lumia 735. There are only two differences from the 730 model, which I will now talk about: support for one SIM card (Lumia 730 is a DualSIM smartphone) and the ability to work with LTE networks.

Appearance

The Lumia line of smartphones is very easy to identify precisely because of their appearance. All phones of this series have a similar design (a rectangle with rounded sides), but the company managed to make each device a little “individual”, they cannot be confused (especially by the appearance of the back panel). In our case, we will talk about a plastic case (not polycarbonate, of course, but it will work), which can be of three colors: white, orange and black. We got our hands on the White version, just for winter.

The front face of the "extreme" Nokia phone occupies a 4.7-inch screen, above which the Nokia sign was placed (look, you won't see anything like this anywhere else), an earpiece and a front-facing camera. Actually, the selfie machine deserves special attention here, so we will devote a whole section to it. But now I would like to poke a little on the topic of the keys under the screen. Here the situation has developed in such a way that there is a place for them, but there are no buttons themselves. The trick is that starting with Windows Phone 8.1, the keys were made on-screen (something similar happened with Android at one time). It seems that when the phone was being developed, they simply forgot about the “capabilities” of the updated system. In short, the fingers are drawn to press where, in fact, there is nothing to press. All this is a matter of habit, but not a very pleasant moment, to be honest.

The most abundant control elements are on the left side - there is nothing there. On the right side there was a place for a volume rocker and a power button. Bottom - microUSB connector, top - headphone jack. The phone is ideal for perfectionists - all "holes" are placed strictly in the center of the edges. I liked that the buttons protrude a little, so finding them by touch is not a problem at all, unlike the same one.

The back cover is removable, but this does not in any way affect the build quality of the device, the phone lies well in the hand and all the glorified solidity of the Lumia line is felt. You can replace SIM 1 without pulling out the battery, but SIM 2 and microSD do not support hot swapping. Although I do not know if in this case we can talk about a quick replacement at all, since removing the panel is not the easiest thing, which every time turns into a miller hell. I also want to note that the company has finally abandoned the nano-SIM, here the usual type is micro.

There is nothing interesting on the back panel: a 6.7 MP camera, flash, a second microphone and a speaker, which is very muffled if you put the phone on a sofa or something similar. Basically, I liked the design of the device. Its dimensions are 134.7 x 68.5 x 8.7 mm and seem almost ideal for one-handed use - you can easily reach any corner of the screen, and thanks to the rounded sides of the display, the question of frames is no longer relevant.

Screen

With the display, the situation is ambiguous. On the one hand, we have good value diagonal / pixel density, that is, at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 4.7 inches, we get 316 PPI, which is quite good. But on the other - PenTile. And this is exactly the case when the dots are visible with the naked eye. It's already the end of 2014, so I would like the owner of the phone not to receive a pleasant bonus in the form of the game “Find a square on the screen”. The presence of ClearBlack technology has a positive effect on the characteristics of the display; when working in the sun, the screen not only does not fade, but also behaves quite well. They did not forget about the tempered glass and installed Gorilla Glass 3.

Traditionally, there are some items in the phone settings that help to adjust the screen to your requirements. For example, choose a brightness profile, because a quick adjustment of this parameter supports only three modes (low, medium and high levels). And the color profile allows you to choose the most comfortable screen shade for yourself. Sensitivity is also adjustable. If necessary, you can select the "winter" mode and control your smartphone even with gloves.

In principle, there is also a light sensor that behaves adequately in any conditions. The need to go into tinctures in order to twist or dim the brightness rarely arises.

Camera

From the main camera with a resolution of 6.7 MP, I did not expect anything supernatural. I hoped that the matrix would be enough to “take pictures of food on Instagram”, but for other things, at the time of testing, I planned to take the phone more seriously. But in practice, it turned out quite differently. The device takes high-quality pictures (although they cannot be resized) - saturated and with good brightness, and in low light the Lumia 730 even outperforms its “older brothers” (Lumia 930, for example).

During the presentation, a lot of emphasis was placed on the front-facing camera, they say: “Here's a cool front camera for you, friends, take a selfie”. But in the end we got 5 megapixels, which provide good shots of ourselves and ... that's all. There is no additional software. Is that the application "Lumia Selfie", but it is available on absolutely all devices of the line. In short, see examples.

Specifications

The most interesting thing here is the operating room Windows system Phone 8.1 + Lumia Denim. Formally, there are not many changes, but if you used Windows Phone 8 before, then the differences are immediately striking. The heart of the device is a quad-core (Cortex-A7) Snapdragon 400 chip clocked at 1.2 GHz. Responsible for the graphics GPU Adreno 305. RAM 1 GB, and built-in - only 8 GB. It's great that the manufacturer has provided a microSD card slot. You can see for yourself that the characteristics are far from top-end, but with everyday use we get smooth operation of the interface and third party applications... The only thing that confused me was the speed at which the camera started (it happens in 4-5 seconds, seriously).

Concerning simple games, then everything works well, and if you take the same Asphalt 6, sometimes the FPS drops noticeably. It is very funny that in Antutu Tester the 730 practically did not lag behind the 830 in any parameters, and even surpassed it in some points. If we talk about wireless technologies, then there was a place for Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0 and an NFC chip. The GPS and GLONAS modules have not gone anywhere either.

Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 134.7 x 68.5 x 8.7mm.
  • Weight: 130.4 g.
  • Operating system: Windows Phone 8.1 + Lumia Denim.
  • Processor: Quad-core Snapdragon 400, 1.2GHz.
  • Graphics: Adreno 305.
  • Display: OLED, 4.7 ″, 720 × 1280 pixels, 316 PPI.
  • Memory: 8 GB, microSD card slot.
  • RAM: 1 GB.
  • Camera: main - 6.7 MP, front - 5 MP.
  • Wireless technologies: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC chip.

We have already told you about all the main features of the Windows Phone operating system in the review. Overall, I like the platform. Now the circumstances are such that my main phone is Lumia 1520, so I can safely say that the problem of lack of games and applications is slowly losing its relevance.

    Autonomy

The Lumia 730 uses a 2220 mAh battery. To be honest, the maximum that this smartphone is capable of is 2 days. In my use case (Wi-Fi is always on, a few hours social networks, 1 hour of music and about an hour of calls), the device with great difficulties survived until the night. In short, the scheme is simple: went to bed - put it on charge, woke up - turned off the charge. But I did not expect any record indicators in terms of autonomy from this smartphone compared to top-end gadgets on Windows Phone, which sometimes gave real records (up to 3 days of work).

    Eventually

If we talk about the cost, then in Ukraine it is about 3800 hryvnia (240 dollars and 13 thousand rubles). What do we get for this money? A really good smartphone on Windows Phone, which has a design similar to all Lumia devices (read “has a cool appearance”), a high-quality screen and a good camera. The only thing I didn't like was the battery life (here it is the same as in most Android smartphones) and a lot of space under the display (I just want to press the keys that are not there). As for the title “selfiphone”, here it is a controversial point - look at the same one. But it is quite possible that he is the leader in this indicator among smartphones on Windows Phone.

In 2014, the Finnish manufacturer introduced the Nokia Lumiya 730 phone. In the advertising campaign, the emphasis was placed on the resolution of the front camera. It was almost twice as high as the matrix of competing models. In the first months after the start of sales, the device immediately became popular. What exactly interested buyers? Let's figure it out together.

Equipment

Unfortunately in latest models smartphones Nokia does not spoil the buyer with a complete set. All you can count on when purchasing Nokia Lumiya 730 is the device itself, the battery, the charger. Of course, the kit contains all the necessary documentation: a warranty card (filled in by the seller on the day of purchase), an operating manual and a list of service centers.

Buyers have a fair question: why is there no USB cable and memory card? If we take into account the cost of the model at the start of sales (13,000 rubles), then the device is definitely not a “state employee”. Having paid that kind of money, the owners want to rely at least on standard set complete set. Naturally, we are not talking about a case at all. It can be purchased at any outlet, and a wide range of models will allow you to choose options for every taste and color.

The original wireless charger deserves special attention. The device is produced in different colors, so it can be matched to the tone of the smartphone. The device is able to report low battery and missed incoming calls by flashing LEDs.

Appearance

Phone "Lumiya 730" appeared before the buyer in a strict minimalist design. The body is devoid of roundness, which gives it originality. The smartphone weighs a little, only 130 g. In terms of length-to-width ratio (134.7 × 68.5 mm), the device can be attributed to the middle class. Pleased with buyers and the thickness of the case - 8.7 mm. The back cover acts as a frame around the screen. This solution is rare, so it looks original. Several colors are available for sale. You can buy classic options: white and graphite, as well as light green and orange. The latter are in demand among young people. The case of "Nokia Lumiya 730" is matte and glossy.

Of course, the screen occupies a large area of the front part. The manufacturer used Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it. The coating will completely eliminate the appearance of scratches and chips. The location of connectors and buttons is typical for all Nokia products. The lock and volume keys are on the side, the ports for the USB cable and headphones are on the bottom and top ends. The buyer will not see anything new on the back cover. The layout of the camera lens, speaker and flash is standard.

"Nokia Lumiya 730": processor characteristics

The "stuffing" of the smartphone especially impressed the buyers. The manufacturer clearly did not save on the quality of the processor, installing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 model with four Cortex-A7 cores. High performance is provided by a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz. An equally important criterion is the amount of RAM. The operation of all applications directly depends on this indicator. Users will not encounter freezes and crashes, since the amount of "RAM" is 1 GB. High quality graphics are provided by the GPU Adreno 305 processor. There is also a lot of built-in memory. The storage capacity is 8 GB. Some space is occupied by operating system files, the rest of the user can fill with photos, videos, pictures, music.

Windows Phone 8.1 is compatible with big amount programs. Therefore, owners are encouraged to install additional software. The built-in memory may not be large enough, especially for demanding applications. For these purposes, the developers have provided a slot for a memory card. You can use removable storage, the maximum volume of which does not exceed 128 GB.

Screen

What makes smartphones different from classic phones? Big screen... It can be safely called the advantage of "Nokia Lumiya 730". The display characteristics are truly impressive. The 4.7ʺ diagonal opens up great opportunities, and the resolution of 1280 × 780 px ensures high-quality display of information on the screen. The pixel density per inch is responsible for the clarity of the image and the absence of grain. In this model, it is 316 ppi.

The color gamut is rendered richly, vividly and realistically. The display is capable of displaying over 16 million colors. The brightness level is sufficient, so problems in the sun should not arise. This quality is ensured by the IPS-LCD matrix.

Camera

And now, finally, the time has come to voice the most important advantage of the Nokia Lumiya 730 model. The camera is what the manufacturer focused on. The resolution of the front camera with a wide-angle lens surprised most of the buyers. In this model it is 5 megapixels. A real find for selfie lovers. Is not it?! The camera focuses perfectly, the interface is user-friendly and straightforward. The main settings are displayed on the viewfinder screen. The only drawback is the quality of the shots in low light. A lot of noise appears in the photo.

What are the characteristics of the main camera? There is nothing to be happy about here. The matrix is only 6.7 megapixels. At present, this permission is no longer sufficient. However, you can shoot movies with sound using the rear camera. They are of good quality.

Interface

Like all Nokia smartphones, "Lumiya 730" is produced on Windows platform Phone. The operating system version has been updated to 8.1. Users believe that it is as complete as possible, unlike the previous one. The tiled menu is convenient and intuitive. Any application has fast access... The sequence can be changed depending on the preference of the owner. The start screen has everything you need - a calendar, information about calls and messages, a gallery, and more.

Considering that this model supports work with two SIM cards, the menu provides options for managing each separately. At any time, you can view all data on calls, notifications.

The advantage of the gadget is the ability to update the operating system to latest version- 10. The manufacturer has included this model in the official list, which guarantees the user the normal operation of the device after the update. Therefore, those who wish can safely install themselves Windows Phone 10.

Autonomous work

Buyers are already accustomed to the fact that all mobile devices Nokia companies are able to amaze with the results autonomous work... Is the Nokia Lumia 730 an exception? In order to answer this question, let's first look at the instructions. In it, the manufacturer indicates the type of battery and its characteristics. The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 2220 mAh. The manufacturer claims that when the smartphone is in standby mode, it will be discharged only after 25 days. With a continuous conversation, the battery capacity will last for 22 hours. If you use the device as an audio player, you can count on 60 hours. When playing a video, the battery will be discharged only after 9 hours.

What does the user have in reality? The owners claim that the device will operate under average load for approximately two days. If you use it to the maximum (Wi-Fi, calls, listening to music through the speaker, visiting social networks, etc.), then the battery will only last for a day, at night you will have to put your smartphone on charge.

"Nokia Lumiya 730": reviews

It's time to tell you what reviews are left by the owners of this smartphone model. You can find a large number of them on the Internet, which indicates an increased interest in the gadget.

Fans of Nokia Lumia 730 praise the device for its high performance, the ability to work with the updated "operating system", good battery life, resolution of the front camera and display. Lovers of play are delighted with the image of the pictures. The sound of the speakers is good, clean, no wheezing.

There are also negative reviews. In the smartphone, the owners were very upset with the lock of the battery cover. It is quite difficult to shoot, so most buyers turn to specialized centers for help. The rejection of the standalone camera button on the body was also not met with enthusiasm. Now, to activate the viewfinder and release the shutter, you will have to use the keys located directly on touch screen... And the main drawback is restrictions on installing applications that are compatible with Android, since Windows does not support them.

As you probably know, the largest consumer electronics trade fair IFA 2014 will take place in Berlin from 5 to 10 September. However, the time for announcements has already come.

As part of Microsoft's special event, "Ready for #morelumia?"

Nokia Lumia 830

The first novelty of the event was the vice-flagship Nokia Lumia 830. The smartphone successfully combines the successful design solutions of its predecessors, such as, for example, Nokia Lumia 1020. But most of all he drew from appearance the flagship model of the "big brother" - Lumia 930.

Nokia Lumia 930 (pictured left) and Nokia Lumia 830

The body of the Lumia 830, just like the flagship presented in spring, is based on a monolithic metal frame in silver or black, which is also a design element of the smartphone. The front part is almost completely covered with a protective Gorilla 3.0 glass with a slightly convex shape, and on back side there is a colored protective cover made of polycarbonate. The smartphone is available in all black, as well as combinations of a silver frame and back cover in white, bright orange or bright green. This design "recipe" is already becoming traditional for Lumia and allows you to target both fans of bright colors and conservative users.

One more important point The physical characteristics of the new smartphone are its thickness and weight. They are 8.5 mm and 150 grams, respectively, making the Lumia 830 the thinnest and lightest in the lineup on currently... The length and width of the new smartphone are 139.4 x 70.7 mm.

It is worth paying attention to the technical component. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with an Adreno 305 graphics chip and 1GB of RAM.

The Lumia 830 has 16GB of internal storage expandable with microSD cards (up to an impressive 128GB). Plus, users will have 15 GB available in the OneDrive cloud for free.

The crisp 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (pixel density - 296 ppi) with ClearBlack technology boasts excellent sunlight readability and makes it easier to operate your smartphone in different conditions thanks to the supersensitive sensor.

The Lumia 830 features a 10MP main camera with PureView technology, LED flash, ZEISS optics (6-lens optics) and the lightest and thinnest OIS we've ever made. The camera has a high sensitivity to light, allowing you to take high-quality images in low light conditions. The sensor size is 1 / 3.4 inches, the focal length is 26 mm, and the aperture is f / 2.2. The front camera has a resolution of 0.9 megapixels and a wide-angle lens for better shooting self-portraits and video calls.

The main camera allows you to shoot video in Full HD (1080p) resolution. And Nokia Rich Recording technology and three high-performance microphones ensure surround sound recording (5.1) without distortion over the entire full range.

A powerful replaceable battery (which is rare for flagship devices today) with a capacity of 2200 mAh will provide up to 14.8 hours of talk time (on 3G). You can recharge the Lumia 830's battery using QI wireless charging.

The smartphone supports SensorCore technology, which allows you to collect information for fitness applications (such as Health and Fitness and Adidas miCoach) in low power conditions.

The new Lumia 830 comes preinstalled with newest update Lumia Denim with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1. We will tell you a little more about it later in the post.

The Lumia 830 will begin shipping worldwide this fall. In Russia, the novelty will appear approximately in October. The retail price will be announced additionally (the expected value is about 330 euros excluding taxes and discounts).

Particular attention of buyers was awarded Nokia smartphone 730 Lumia Dual Sim. It went on sale in 2014. The external design of the gadget was fully consistent modern requirements... However, the hardware "stuffing" was not particularly distinguished by its characteristics. The developers focused on the resolution of the front camera. It is this parameter that has become the "highlight" of this device.

After the start of sales, consumer demand grew at a breakneck pace. Why did the buyer like the device so much? What unique parameters will it surprise domestic users with?

Equipment

Considering that this model is in accordance with technical specifications and the cost belongs to the middle segment, many owners had comments on the set of components. It's hard to believe that a gadget worth about 13,000 rubles, apart from a charger and a battery, has nothing else. The only interesting piece of equipment is the additional removable panel. For example, the Nokia 730 Lumia Dual Sim Orange comes with a basic orange back cover and dark matte interchangeable. If necessary, the user chooses what he likes best.

But back to the bundle. Unfortunately, for some reason, the developers did not provide for the presence of a USB cable. According to many owners, this is unacceptable for mid-range gadgets. Naturally, there is no memory card or a cover in the kit. If the need arises, users will have to buy all accessories separately. Of course, these are additional costs that can be safely attributed to disadvantages.

The manufacturer made a mistake with the complete set, but attempts were made to rehabilitate himself. Wireless chargers have hit the market. Their body is made in the same color scheme as the phone. Pick up desired option no problem. The device is multifunctional. It is not only used for its main purpose (recharging the battery), but can also notify the owners of missed calls and a dead battery.

Design

The exterior design of the Lumia 730 is far from trivial. The use of new and fresh solutions helped the manufacturer to quickly promote the gadget. Rear panel has streamlined side edges. They practically reach the screen, framing it with the original frame. If, for example, in the black version it is not so striking, then in other colors it becomes an accent. Photo added below Nokia models Lumia 730 Dual Sim Green. On it you can see how profitable green frame emphasizes the boundaries of the screen, focusing on it.

What about the case? If we consider its size, then it is a typical representative of the middle class. Its thickness is 8.7 mm, which is commendable. The height is neither large nor small - 134.7 mm, width - 68.5 mm. Such dimensions do not create any discomfort at all during use. The back panel can have two types of coating - matte and glossy. The line includes classic (black and white) and youth (green and orange) options. The former are ideal for respectable people, the latter, most often, are acquired by adolescents.

On the front panel, all elements are arranged according to a standard scheme. Conversational speaker, front camera, sensors are located in the upper part, and in the lower part there are touch keys for controlling the Nokia Lumia 730 Dual Sim. Glass (Corning Gorilla Glass), which protects the screen, the manufacturer used a rounded shape. It does not appear anywhere, which pleases a large number of buyers. However, one must be careful this moment can also be attributed to disadvantages, since if you put the phone on a table or other smooth surface with the screen down, it will slide a lot.

In the upper part of the rear panel, the user will see the camera lens and a small "window" of the flash. In the middle there is an engraving of the name of the company. And below with right side the holes of the output speaker are brought out.

The lock / power button and the volume control are in their usual place - on the right side edge. The micro-USB port is located in the center of the bottom end, the headset jack is on the top.

Hardware part

You can evaluate the performance of Nokia Lumia 730 Dual Sim by the characteristics of the processor. In this model, the developers have installed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. It is distinguished by high performance due to four Cortex-A7 cores. It is important for buyers to know the clock speed to evaluate performance. In this model, it is 1.2 GHz. The GPU Adreno 305 processor is responsible for the graphics quality. The image displayed on the screen is clear and of high quality.

Many users pay attention to the fact that the gadget copes with all the tasks set perfectly. Such results are provided by 1 GB of RAM. Uniquely, freezes and software glitches are virtually non-existent on all Lumia models. And this is a significant advantage that distinguishes smartphones from the background of gadgets of other brands.

The built-in memory storage is quite large. Its capacity is limited to 8 GB. According to the owners, this is enough for downloading not only music, videos and pictures, but also modern applications. If the user finds it too little, then the opportunity is given to use the resource of a removable storage device. The device supports memory cards up to 128 GB. Thanks to them, the smartphone will open all possibilities, without exception, to the user.

Nokia Lumia 730 Dual Sim: display specifications

The love for smartphones in most cases is caused by the large screen. The Lumia 730 has a 4.7-inch diagonal. The display resolution is quite high - 1280 × 780 px. The picture quality is excellent, there is no grain or noise. The pixel density per inch is 316 ppi. Due to this, the "squares" cannot be seen with the naked eye.

In order for the device to behave perfectly in the bright sun, the ClearBlack technology was used. Its essence lies in the application of a polarizing layer, which significantly improves the image quality and eliminates the formation of glare.

Camera

The Nokia Lumia 730 Dual Sim phone has many advantages, but the main thing is the front camera. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel sensor. Two years ago there were no analogues on sale. It is based on a wide-angle lens and autofocus. If you use the camera while good lighting, then the photos are excellent. But in the dark, the quality is a little lame.

It's not worth talking about the main camera for a long time, since the developers practically did not pay attention to it. The resolution is only 6.7 megapixels. Video recording function is provided.

Operating system

The Nokia Lumia 730 Dual Sim, like other smartphones from the Finnish manufacturer, is equipped with a proprietary operating system - Windows Phone. The eighth version was originally used. After the release of the update, users got a chance to enjoy Windows capabilities Phone 8.1.

This "operating system" is characterized by stable operation, rare freezes and crashes. Malfunctions do occur, but very rarely. Currently, the owners of the gadget can officially update the firmware to the 10th version. In this case, the warranty service of the device remains in full.

Battery

The Nokia Lumia 730 Dual Sim has an average battery by today's standards. Its capacity is 2220 mAh. The owners claim that with active use of the smartphone, the battery will last for about a day. If the load is cut in half, then the device will have to be recharged no earlier than in two days.

In the instructions, the manufacturer indicated the official indicators characterizing the operation of the battery.

Conclusion

Nokia Lumia 730 Dual Sim is one of the latest developments of the Finnish company. The firm has now been taken over by another corporation. However, this in no way affected the quality of the gadget. The manufacturer has developed an excellent device that copes not only with the main tasks, but also opens up a great potential of possibilities. All connoisseurs of Windows can enjoy a high-quality device, but fans of other operating systems are advised to weigh the pros and cons before buying.
