How to program?

There is a certain programming algorithm, which in general terms will be the same for all Came remotes. The system is built in such a way that only one remote control can be written to the drive receiver.

When there is a need for additional ones, they will be copied already from it. If an attempt is made to write another remote control to the receiver itself, the first one and all that were recorded by copying from it will stop working.

This is convenient, for example, if the first remote control has been lost. Then you can simply purchase and program a new one, and the previous one will be erased from memory on its own and no one else will be able to use it.

This is an additional convenience of the system - there is no need to repeat the operation every time when programming a new device, holding open lid direct receiver.

However, this same feature is at the same time a hidden danger of the entire system. After all, having received a working programmed remote control for a short time, anyone can use it in order to set up their own from it in the same way.

Therefore, you should be careful about safety and prevent cases of working devices falling into the hands of strangers.

Brief instructions - programming key fobs on the control unit

  1. Open the cover of the control box and find the CH1 (PROG) button.
  2. When you click on it, the LED indicator located on the panel will start working.
  3. Further, to start programming the key fob, you must press the corresponding button on it without releasing the PROG button.
  4. After that, the indicator light stops flashing and starts to burn steadily.
  5. Such a signal of the LED indicates the successful recording of the key fob in the memory of the control unit. Then both buttons can be released.

Copying TOP series remotes (432NA, 432SA) from the "master"

First of all, it is worth remembering that both devices must be sequentially positioned one after the other so that the first is the new remote control that requires configuration, and the old one - the “master keychain” - behind it.

The distance between them for the successful completion of the entire operation should be no more than 5 mm. You can just put them right next to each other. Only then does the programming process begin.

  1. On a new device, press both buttons and hold in this position until the LED indicator turns on and starts flashing at a fairly high frequency. This should take about 7 seconds. This means that the key fob is ready to copy the signal.
  2. The next step is to release both buttons on the same device (new) and press (briefly) only the one that will be programmed. After that, the LED should stop flashing and start to burn steadily.
  3. All further actions should be done fairly quickly - you need to be in time for the time while the indicator on the new remote control device is lit evenly.
  4. On the master key fob, press the working control key once. It is from it that the current signal will be copied or overwritten.
  5. After that, the LED should blink three times and go out completely. Such a light signal means that the signal copying operation was successful, and the new device is ready for operation in full.

You can increase the number of working remote controls, multiply them for a large number of users. To do this, repeat the steps that are described in paragraphs 1-5 of the instructions.

Dubbing a signal to Came TOP-432EE from a TOP-432NA device

As TOP-432EE consoles become more and more common, you should know how to set up this unit using the previous 432NA model.

  1. On the 432EE, two buttons must be pressed at the same time. Hold them until the LED indicator lights up with a constantly flashing light.
  2. Then release both keys and press one - the one that will be programmed.
  3. After that, the indicator on the new device should stop blinking, and burn constantly, with the same intensity.
  4. Within 10 seconds, while the LED is working, it is necessary to bring it to the programmable remote control from below and behind old model 432NA.
  5. On the master key fob, you need to make a single and short press working key. After that, the indicator should blink three times, which will mean the completion of the signal rewriting and successful programming.

The first step is to register the remote control in the receiver on the control board. All manufacturers of automation for gates have a different programming algorithm for remote controls, so there is no single recipe. Let's focus on the main manufacturers of gate automation on the Ukrainian market - Professional (GANT), Came, FAAC, Doorhan, Nice.

First of all, a small educational program.

In the systems of Came, FAAC, Nice firms, one remote control is recorded in the drive receiver, and then the required number of other key fobs is copied from it. If you try to record the next remote control into the receiver, the first remote control and all remote controls recorded from it will stop working. In cases where you have lost the old remote control, there is no need to delete it from memory - it will be erased itself when you write a new one to the receiver. A huge advantage of such systems is convenience - there is no need to open the cover of the electric drive every time if it becomes necessary to record the next remote control. But this system is very vulnerable - it is enough for me to hold your remote control in my hands for 10 seconds to steal a signal to my remote control. And this opens the gate to almost everyone who held your remote control (or the remote control of your employees). Let's say you decide to restrict access to the parking lot, put up a barrier and gave tenants 20 Came remotes (equal to the number of parking spaces). But after a couple of weeks, the parking space is again not enough. Why? Because employees give each other remotes for copying and there are several times more of them than were issued. And what is the way out? Install the Professional (GANT, China) or Doorhan (Dorkhan, Russia) system. The main difference between such systems is that the signal of each remote control is recorded individually in the receiver. The downside is the limitation on the number of recorded remotes in the receiver (depending on the model from 25 to 128 pcs) and the need to open the cover of the drive or receiver each time to record the next remote control. If you need to record additional remotes, repeat this operation. It should be noted that a limited number of remote controls can be recorded in the receiver's memory (depending on the memory size of the microcircuit, the number of recorded remote controls can be from 25 to 128 pcs).

To delete all key fobs, hold down the "LEARN" button for 8 seconds. All keyfobs will be erased from memory.

How to program the Came remote 25 Euro


It is necessary to press and hold the PROG button (CH1) on the control unit. The LED indicator starts flashing (left figure). Press the desired button on the key fob. The LED indicator lights up steadily, which indicates successful programming of the control unit (right figure). Release both buttons. The board is registered.

To record the remote control to the receiver, press and hold the remote control recording button on the radio receiver board for 3 seconds - the LED1 indicator on the receiver will light up. After that, press the desired button on the remote control for 2-3 seconds. To set up multiple remotes, repeat the procedure for other remotes.

How to program the NICE remote

There are two types of NICE remotes - fixed code (blue case) and dynamic code (black case)

Remote programming Nice Flo with a permanent code is done by setting two-position dip switches, both in the remote control itself and in the radio channel. Be careful - the variations must match. If you need an additional remote, simply spin the old pre-programmed Flo remote and set the switches to the same position. These are old-style consoles, very rare today.

On the receiver, press the key once (delay less than 1 second). On the remote control, hold down the key for 3-4 seconds, after which the indicator on the receiver will blink 3 times. It is clear that you can use the universal remote control only if you program it correctly. For this it is necessary to rewrite control program from another console. You can upload the program to the memory of the universal key fob immediately after turning on the device. If you have not made the transfer within 5 seconds, the possibility of reprogramming is blocked, therefore, after turning on, you must immediately switch the "station wagon" to the programming mode by pressing the appropriate button, after which the device will emit a signal of readiness to receive information.

Next, we take the old proprietary device and press the "mode" button until we hear two short beeps, after which we press in turn the control buttons for opening and closing the gate. Successful transfer is confirmed by a three-pulse beep.

Each key fob or remote control has its own digital name, stored in the memory of the gate control unit, therefore, before starting to use a new unit, it must be registered in the memory of the control unit. To do this, press the button on the old and on the new remote control for three seconds, then remove the branded key fob, and on the new one, press again until a three-time signal appears.

Programming branded control devices

Each manufacturer of automation for gate control uses approximately the same command sequences and methods for programming the remote control. The difference can only be in the indication of the operations performed or the method of data exchange. Most often in remote control systems are used:

  1. Permanent control key, sewn into the memory block. The complexity of the key and the large length allows you not to be afraid of hacking the gate control unit with the help of foreign devices;
  2. Dynamically changing encrypted key. In this case, the control unit can send a new digital sequence to the control panel, which is used as an access identifier.

For your information! In simple Chinese gate control systems, the first option is most often used; in expensive Italian and German automatic machines, the second control principle is used.

Remote control for gates "Came"

For illustration, we can consider the procedure for transferring service information to a new programmable key fob using the example of the TOP 432 SA model. Today it is one of the most common options for a two-channel automatic gate control system.

Program transfer is performed in the following sequence:

  1. To begin with, we place the old and new key fobs at the most convenient distance, but not more than 5 m. On the new device, press and hold the first couple of buttons until the indicator starts flashing quickly;
  2. On the programmable remote control, press the necessary button, on which you need to sew the corresponding command from the old one, the indicator will light up with a steady light. Within ten seconds, press the desired command on the old device;
  3. If the transfer is successful, the new key fob will blink the indicator three times.

More complicated is the procedure for programming the Came Twins remote control with a dynamically changing code. In this case, before transferring the program, the procedure for registering the key fob in the memory of the control unit will be required. The transfer of information is carried out through the control unit. To do this, press start button on the old block and hold it until the indicator lights up steadily without flickering.

To get a code on a new remote control, you need to press the button on it only once. Further, the key fobs will exit the programming mode automatically.

Remote control for gates "Faac"

The Faac company from Italy is known for its systems for automatic, remotely controlled gates. The device programming procedure is not very different from the previous options.

For example, for the XT2-868 SLH model, information transfer is performed in the following sequence. First, on the old remote control, you must simultaneously press the first two buttons, for about two seconds. The remote control enters the data transmission mode. The new device should blink, thereby signaling the start of overwriting. Sequentially, first on the old one, then on the new one, we press the button that needs to be rewritten, after which the indicator should blink twice. All commands are transferred in the same way.

We program the key fob gate "Nice Very VE"

This model works using a statistical code. Before transferring service information, you will need to open the receiver panel and code the device in accordance with the location of the switches on the board.

First, press the first two buttons at the same time until the indicator lights up without blinking. We look at the position of the first micro-toggle switch, if it is in the “on” state, then press the top button on the remote control, otherwise - the bottom one. In this way, it is necessary to “sort through” all ten microtoggle switches of the board. To save the information, you must turn on the last switch for ten seconds. A blinking indicator confirms the recording of information.

On universal devices with light indicators, for example, Came TOP, light signals are used instead of sound signals. Only one copy is programmed into the new remote control, and the parameters are adjusted for the rest. As a rule, two buttons are pressed, which must be programmed on the old device until the blinking appears.

Then they press one button on it until an even glow appears and bring it to the new device and press the working button on it. DITEC GOL4 C and Transmitter are universal devices suitable for controlling any devices on DoorHan automation. They have 4 independent channels and a floating code with 16 million combinations. The cost is from 750 rubles.

TX2/4 consoles support combination with any models on FAAC automation. Support two modes of operation: Master and Slave. Only the Master is used to program multiple instruments. The model costs from 1200 rubles.

One-, two- and four-channel Intro device supports programming up to 30 remote controls on the Radio series automation. It can control barriers, roller shutters, lighting and gates. The cost is from 1200 rubles.

Turn on the device you will control. Brand code search is only supported by older TVs, DVD players, VCRs and satellite receivers. It is not supported on stereos, DVRs, and HDTVs (for those devices, use the different method described in this article).

  • The brand code can be found in the documentation for the remote control or on this site.
  • Release both buttons.

    Enter the brand code using the numeric keypad on the remote. While entering the code, keep the remote control pointed at the device.

    • If the code is entered correctly, the power button will blink once and remain lit.
    • If the code is entered incorrectly, the power button will flash four times and then turn off. In this case, repeat the described process. Make sure you are entering the correct brand code and that your device supports it.
  • Press the power button. Each time you press the power button, the next code (from the list of brand codes) is sent to the device. In this case, the power button will blink. Keep pressing the power button until the device turns off. This means you have found the correct code.

    • If you have entered all brand codes from the list, the power button will flash four times and then turn off. In this case, use the other method described in this article.
  • Press and release the "Stop ■" button. This will save the code in the remote and assign it to the button corresponding to the turned on device (that is, the button that you pressed earlier). If you do not press the "Stop ■" button, the code will not be saved and you will have to start the process again.

    Test the operation of the remote control by turning on the appropriate device and operating it with the remote control. If you are unable to control most of the device's features, use the other method described in this article.

    Finding Codes Manually

      Turn on the device you will control (TV, DVD/Bluray player, stereo, etc.). The device must support the use of the remote control.

      • The number of functions controlled by the universal remote control depends on the device.
    1. Press the button on the remote control that corresponds to the turned on device. For example, if you are programming the remote to control your TV, hold down the TV button. If there is no button on the remote control corresponding to the switched on device, press the “AUX” button.

      • After a few moments, the power button will light up. Keep pressing the device button on the remote.
      • Keep the remote pointed at the device.
    2. Hold down the power button while continuing to hold down the device button on the remote. The power button will turn off. Keep holding both keys down for three seconds. The power button will light up again.

      Release both buttons. The power button LED should be on. If this is not the case, repeat the described steps.
